We are constantly competing for our readers’ attention. We only have a few seconds to encourage them to stay awhile, read our post, and follow along. When you have just a few moments to get their attention, there are only SO many tools that complement both the user’s experience and our own website design. When I learned about Milotree, I knew it would be a worthwhile option for both of my websites.
Since followers to my email list, Pinterest, and Instagram are all important for my brand, I wanted something that would be able to highlight each of those networks. Milotree is a non-intrusive popup box that displays options for your website visitors to like your Facebook page, follow you on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or subscribe to your email list. YOU are in control of what options are shown and in what order, and YOU can customize the popup to appear in your brand’s colors.
You can also delay the popup until the visitor scrolls, hide it on mobile, and choose where you want it to go (left, right, bottom, etc.). With a lot of flexibility, you can truly make this popup feel like YOU. And, with analytics to monitor, you can see if this tactic works for you.
How to Use Milotree
I suggest that you test it out and see if you see any bump in followers or subscribers. Use the analytics within Milotree to see how many clicks you are receiving. Test and re-test. Then, let the followers roll in! Like I said before, it is VERY difficult to see growth on social right now. We are competing against large marketing budgets and algorithms. Simple additions to your website can make a big difference.
Give it a shot and let me know your results!
